VILLA REMMERT




Villa Remmert was built at the end of the 19th century and was characterized by landscaped gardens and a rural outbuilding.

It belonged to a Prussian family, the Remmerts, who had opened up their factories in the area of Basso Canavese and Valli di Lanzo and most of all in Ciriè, where they also settled.

Villa Remmert was bought by the City of Ciriè in 1988 for its architectural relevance and its position. The City Council has recently decided to designate Villa Remmert to centre of important cultural events.
